FAQ

What are Functional Proteins?

Functional proteins are a complex mixture of biologically active proteins that help support and maintain normal immune function. APC's functional proteins are consumed by millions of animals around the globe.

What research has been conducted to show how functional proteins work?

Extensive research has been conducted by scientific professionals around the world and new information about functional proteins continues to surface. Specific questions should be directed to Dr. Javier Polo, Dr. Joy Campbell, or Dr. Joe Crenshaw (see APC Team for contact information).

Are there any differences between beef and pork plasma?

Besides the source of plasma, there aren't any notable differences. Numerous studies have been conducted to evaluate the quality of bovine plasma compared to porcine plasma. The results have not shown any significant difference in performance, quality, or bio-safety of the two products.
